This is the reason why Prince Harry is constantly fiddling with his wedding ring

The reason behind him touching his wedding ring is actually very sweet!

Those of you who like to follow the British royal family as much as we do will probably have noticed. On many of the pictures taken of Prince Harry, he’s fiddling with his wedding ring. Why is that? Is there a reason behind it?

Had you noticed this already?

Body language

Last week, Prince Harry visited the Royal Marines. Once again people remarked on how much he touches his wedding ring. Newspaper The Express wondered what this was all about, so they asked body language expert Judi James for help on the matter. The expert had a simple explanation for it. “Men are often fiddling with their wedding rings.” According to the expert, it means that Harry misses Meghan. “In Harry’s case this looks like a self-comfort ritual performed for two reasons, when he’s feeling under pressure or lonely.”

Support

Harry’s visit to the Royal Marines was his first visit in his official role as Captain General Royal Marines. It’s not that surprising that he’d be a little nervous in that case. We’d definitely be, too! Besides, lately, Harry’s wife Meghan has gone with him on a lot of his official business, but this time he was going solo. Judi further explains why the Duke of Sussex is fiddling with his wedding ring on this occasion: “By seeking out his wedding ring to touch and play with it suggests he’s missing the back-up and support of his wife here.”
