Last weekend Prince Harry celebrated his 34th birthday. During the day, he received many congratulations and sweet messages and gestures from people from all over the world. Yet it’s his sister-in-law, Meghan’s half-sister, who shared a nasty message amidst all of the positive ones. While ‘congratulating’ Harry, she takes a real swipe at him.

This isn’t the first time Samantha Markle sent out mean messages to and about the British royal family.

Prince Harry’s birthday

On Twitter, Samantha Markle shared a drawing of a hamster eating cake. The accompanying text in the message said: “Happy Birthday, Harry! As you “mack down” on your birthday cake, think about the birthday wishes you never extended to your father-in-law.” She refers to the fact that Prince Harry didn’t congratulate his father-in-law on his birthday. Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, celebrated his birthday on the 18th of July.

Even before Meghan and Harry got married, Samantha already sought out the media quite a lot. For example, she became terribly angry about something Meghan said in an interview with BBC radio programme Today. In that interview, Meghan supposedly said that the British royals were the family she’d never had. Not long after, her half-brother, named Thomas Markle as well, also started to get involved. According to him, Prince Harry shouldn’t marry Meghan because she was a shallow woman who had let her fame go to her head. He said he thought his half-sister was annoying and arrogant. That certainly sounds like a warm family to grow up in, doesn’t it?

Below, you can see Samantha’s mean birthday message. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle haven’t responded to it, just like they haven’t responded to Samantha’s previous nasty statements.
