IKEA often comes with new products that everyone wants to have right away. Nearly everybody seems to own a LACK table and we know many a home that seems to be around a third IKEA product. We get it: the Swedish furniture giant manufactures cheap furniture of good quality.

And you don’t want to miss out on this new product!

Lids

IKEA now sells a new product that makes you wonder why you never thought of it yourself: multifunctional lids in several sizes that you can use instead of that blasted cling film. These lids come in a set of three different sizes and they’re made of rubber that can withstand the freezer, microwave and oven. And the best thing? You can use these lids on all kinds of containers and pots and pans.

The lids have been designed to fit on all regular sized oven dishes, pots, pans, bowls and plates. That way, you won’t have to transfer your leftovers to a container. You can just press the lid down on the pot/bowl/plate with the food in it and put it in the fridge just like that. It doesn’t just mean you’ll have less stuff to wash up, it also means you’ll need to use less cling film or aluminium foil, and that’s good for the environment.
