4. Buy a robotic vacuum
It’s a bit of an investment, but you’ll benefit from it a lot. By buying a robotic vacuum, you won’t have to vacuum every day, but just turn on the robot and let it do it for you! That way, your home remains clean and dust-free without any effort from your part.
5. Remain in charge of the clutter
It’s the small things that make a difference, so try to break your bad habits. Are you prone to leaving a dirty plate or cup on the coffee table? Make it a habit to take these to the kitchen and wash them up or put them in the dishwasher right away. Change your clothes next to the laundry basket and deposit dirty clothes in there immediately instead of letting them roam around your bedroom for a while first. Sort your mail next to the wastepaper basket and throw out everything you don’t need.
6. Ask for help
Are you at the end of your wits and does it seem as if the chores just never end? There’s nothing wrong with asking for help. If you work a lot or are disabled in any way, it’s no wonder that the household takes a back seat sometimes. Look into whether your budget would allow you to hire someone to help out around the house. You can also ask your family to help out and divide the tasks. Do you want to tidy a messy closet or get a grip on your garden but are you having trouble getting started? Ask a friend to help you out.
