Have you been putting up your Christmas tree lights wrong? This is the right way to do it

Easy

Plus, it’s not only prettier but also much easier. The string doesn’t get stuck in the branches, which means it’ll be easier to take down the lights when Christmas is over. To put up your Christmas tree lights this way, you start at the top of the tree with the end of the string without the power plug. Drape the string of lights downwards vertically. Once you reach the bottom of the tree, go back up to the top. Leave about 10 centimetres between the two rows of lights. Keep going like this until you’re done. Try to make sure you end with the power plug at the bottom of the tree.

Baubles

To add some extra shimmering and twinkling to your tree, you can also try this trick using baubles. Use a couple of reflecting baubles and place these deep into the tree, close to the trunk. Your tree will look a lot more full and more beautiful. We’re definitely going to give these tips a try!
