We’ve got a long list of chores, but we love doing them all because it’s Christmas! Nothing beats the feeling of having a Christmas-ready house that’s squeaky clean and cosy as can be.
Air freshener
Let’s not forget about what your home smells like, though, because a nice scent can make all the difference. It just gives the holiday-feel that finishing touch. A chemical air freshener isn’t our first choice, because those often smell way too sweet. Plus, a natural version is much healthier. That’s why we’ve got a couple of delicious-smelling DIY decorative air fresheners for you that’ll make your home smell like Christmas in an instant. They’re super easy to make, and a fun gift to hand out. All you need to do is fill a jar with the ingredients, close the lid and punch holes through the lid. Easiest thing in the world!
Fresh pine scent
- A few small Christmas tree branches
- Fresh rosemary sprigs
- Dried lemon slices (you can use fresh ones, but the air freshener will expire more quickly!)
Apple cinnamon
- Cinnamon sticks
- Dried apple wedges
- Cranberries
