This is why you should stick a piece of aluminium foil behind your radiators

It will not only warm up your home; it’ll also save you money!

When it’s cold outside, we usually turn up our heaters a little bit. Are your radiators already fully open but is your home not getting much warmer? Then you should try this handy tip because this simple and cheap solution will make sure your home is nice and toasty. This way, you won’t have to turn up the thermostat, and that will save you quite a bit of money.

You don’t need much for this trick.

Radiators

A lot of houses make use of central heating, which provides warmth throughout the entire house through the use of radiators placed on the outer walls of the building. A thermostat is placed in a central spot in the home and this, in theory, ensures that the whole house gets warmed up to a certain temperature. Yet we often notice that some rooms are heated a lot less than others. Since most radiators are placed along the exterior walls of homes, a lot of the warm air escapes to the outside and the room doesn’t get heated properly.

Want to know how you can fix this? All you need is some aluminium foil! Read all about it on the next page!
