Symptoms
As we said before, the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease can differ per person. However, there is a list of symptoms that are often related to this disease. The most common symptoms are:
- Shaking
- Stiffness
- Slow (and less) movement
- Fatigue
- Walking in a shuffling manner
- Losing the ability to move an arm or leg (properly)
- Balance problems
- Speaking problems (soft and monotone)
- Cramping up while writing
- Blank facial expression
Other symptoms that are regularly connected with Parkinson’s disease:
- Bladder and bowel problems
- Constipation
- Vertigo/dizziness and falling down
- Eye problems
- Painful limbs
- Depression
- Emotional instability
- Memory problems
- Sleeping problems
- Low blood pressure
- Cognitive degeneration
- Hallucination
- Dementia
- Freezing while walking
- Restless legs
- Skin problems
- Excessive perspiration
- Communication and speech problems
- Having trouble swallowing
