two bananas

We’ll start eating two bananas a day right away!

Health gurus have a love/hate relationship with bananas. Some say you shouldn’t eat them too often while others say they are good for you. It can be pretty confusing. We wondered what would really happen if you ate, say, two bananas a day. The result made us very happy!

These are all the positive things that happen to you.

Sugar

Bananas contain a lot of sugar, so if you have diabetes you should be careful when it comes to eating this fruit. Are you healthy and do you want to eat healthy as well? Then the following things can happen if you eat two bananas a day.

You’ll have more energy

The carbohydrates in bananas cause you to have more energy on a daily basis. Bananas make sure this energy is slowly absorbed by the body, which means you’ll feel energised for a lot longer than when you eat other sweet snacks.

Your muscles will cramp less frequently

Do you ever wake up in the middle of the night because your leg has started to cramp? By eating bananas, this won’t happen as often. The fruit contains a lot of potassium and this causes your muscles to cramp less frequently.

You’ll have less trouble with stomach acid

Do you have problems with stomach acid? Then the banana is your best friend. The fruit will cause instant relief for heartburn problems. It neutralises the acid in your stomach and helps prevent heartburn.

It helps against anemia

If you have an iron deficiency, it’s a good idea to eat bananas. They contain a lot of iron and help to increase your hemoglobin.

Your bowel movements will improve

A lot of people have trouble doing a number two. The answer? Eating a banana! If you eat bananas on a regular basis, your bowel movements will improve, since the fruit is rich in fibers.
