THIS is how you can easily lose a few pounds without going on a diet

There’s no need for a fancy diet!

Some people can eat whatever they like without gaining any weight, while others can’t even look at a sugar cube without gaining a pound or two. It can be immensely frustrating when you don’t succeed in losing weight when you want to. Luckily, the Japanese have found a way to make losing weight a little easier.

Finish your plate
You can still hear your mother say it: “Aren’t you finishing your plate? Then you don’t get dessert.” Of course, you desperately wanted that dessert, which is why you finished your plate every time, even when you’d already had enough. Your mother might also have told you that it’s impolite to not finish your plate. Because you’ve abided by this rule for so long, it’s difficult to differentiate between still being hungry and feeling like you have to be polite. This is one of the reasons why being on a diet is so difficult. We constantly feel like we’re eating too little or like we’re hungry, when that might not be the case.

Japanese method
The Japanese have found a solution to this problem, which they call Hara Hachi Bu. When following this method, you don’t eat until you’re full, but until you’re around 80 percent full. How do you know when you’ve reached this point? You simply eat half of your usual serving. Wait for 20 minutes and then ask yourself whether you’re still ‘hungry’. Do you feel like you need to eat more? Then do so. Do this for about two weeks and you’ll find out how much you truly need to eat to not feel completely full.

Say goodbye to your diet with this method!
