Try rubbing some Listerine on your face

Mouthwash; we’ve all got a bottle of it standing around somewhere. Of course, it’s a useful product to keep your teeth healthy and your breath fresh, but did you know you can use it for much more? Listerine mouthwash was invented at the end of the 19th century and was initially used as a disinfectant in operating rooms.

It wasn’t until the 1970s that people started using it as mouthwash, which is its principal use today.

Pimples
Yet you can use it for so much more; for example, for a quick pimple removal. Everyone’s got them every now and again, but that doesn’t mean they can’t be incredibly annoying. You really just want to hide your face away in a collar or a scarf until the threat is eliminated. But did you know that your pimple will be gone in no time if you clean your face with mouthwash? This is what you need:

  • a cotton pad
  • Listerine mouthwash

Pour a little bit of Listerine on the cotton pad and thoroughly clean your face. Don’t scrub too hard; just gently rubbing your face is enough.

Acne
If you have an acne problem you can also use Listerine to clean your face. The alcohol in the mouthwash will cleanse your pores and eventually remove all the uneven spots on your face! You’ll have radiant skin within no time, and all that without expensive treatments or cleansing products! Mouthwash often contains the same refreshing elements as tooth paste and has a drying effect. But beware: aggressive mouthwash such as Listerine can dry out your skin so much that it can damage it. So, make sure you don’t rub too much of it on the pimple, and don’t use it for days on end.
