5. Smells
Nasty smells like sweat, urine or the musty smell of mould won’t stand a chance if you add vinegar to your washing machine.
6. Hand wash
Wash bras, lace panties and delicate socks on a hand wash. Make some soapy water with a mild hand wash detergent and two teaspoons of vinegar. The vinegar will remove any smells and makes sure no soap residue stays behind on the fabric.
7. Static
A cup of vinegar added to your laundry will prevent static cling.
8. Stains
Treat yellowed clothes, or stains made by juice, coffee or urine, with a mixture of equal parts water and vinegar. Leave this to soak overnight and then put the clothing through the washing machine.
