Does your washing machine stink? This is how you can easily get rid of the smell!

smellYou already own the solution to the unpleasant smell!

Your laundry might seem clean when you take it out of the washing machine. Unfortunately, appearances can be deceiving. Many of us forget to clean our washing machines, which can cause lime, mould and soap to accumulate inside it. This doesn’t exactly help when it comes to cleaning your clothes! Luckily, there’s an easy way to clean your machine!

You’ll definitely notice the difference!

Smell
Does your washing machine smell musty when it’s empty? This is a clear sign that it’s due for a clean. The musty smell is caused by bacteria that love to make themselves comfortable in damp surroundings. Your washing machine is a perfect home for them! Do you notice the smell, but do you think it’s not that big of a problem? Keep in mind that these bacteria also have an effect on the functioning of your machine. That’s why we recommend cleaning your washing machine once a month.

Vinegar and baking soda
The easiest way to clean your washing machine is by combining vinegar and baking soda. These two are the ultimate miracle products when it comes to cleaning. Put 50 grams of baking soda in the drum of your machine and 50 ml of vinegar in the detergent drawer. Put your machine on a random washing cycle, turn it on and let it do its thing. That’s all there is to it! Easy, right?
