- 250 millilitres white vinegar
- 500 millilitres warm water
- 120 grams baking soda
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon hydrogen peroxide
Mix together the white vinegar and the warm water in a bucket or basin. Place the item of clothing in question in the bucket and let it soak for 20 minutes. In a separate bowl, mix together the baking soda, salt and hydrogen peroxide until it turns into a thick paste. Take the item of clothing out of the vinegar water and carefully wring it out. Place it on top of a towel and rub the paste onto the yellow-coloured sweat stains. The hydrogen peroxide will whiten the fabric while the salt and baking soda work together to remove the stubborn stain from the fibres of the clothes.
