Flour is the secret to a shiny kitchen sink

Stainless steel sinks are really pretty as long as they’re still shiny. Unfortunately, stainless steel loses its shine quite quickly due to limescale and food scraps. There are a ton of expensive products out there that will help you clean stainless steel, but we’ve got the cheapest and handiest of them all for you today. You probably already have it in your kitchen cupboard.

Polish

This trick isn’t meant exactly for cleaning or disinfecting your sink, but for polishing it. Sure, it’s not necessary to do this for a clean kitchen, but it does make your kitchen look that much prettier! It’s hardly any trouble and very cheap as well since you’re only using some flour, so why not? It gives your kitchen that little bit of extra something and it makes it look clean and fresh.

This is what you need:

  • Soapy water
  • Dishcloth
  • Tea towel
  • Flour
  • Paper towels
