This is how you remove permanent marker stains

Fabric

Got permanent marker into your carpet, clothes or sofa? Use WD-40 spray! Spray the liquid onto the stain and leave it to sit and soak for a little bit. Then rub it clean with a clean cloth. Always try out the WD-40 in an inconspicuous spot first to ensure it won’t damage the fabric. You don’t want to end up with an even bigger stain than before!

Whiteboard

Did you accidentally grab the wrong marker to write something on your whiteboard? Draw on top of the permanent marker with markers that are specifically meant for whiteboards. Next, wipe it away; the permanent marker will be gone as well! Some hairspray, deodorant or nail polish remover also works wonders.

White clothes

There’s probably nothing left to do but bleach your white clothes if you got a marker stain in them. Dilute bleach in water and dip the stained piece of the white item of clothing into the mixture. You should see the stain disappear. You can also drench the entire item of clothing in the diluted bleach.
