These scented vinegar cleaners are super cheap and easy to make

Cleaning supplies can be very expensive and you never really know what kind of chemical nonsense you’re buying this time. All those fancy Latin-based words in the list of ingredients can be confusing! Luckily, there’s a simple solution to all that. It’s super easy to make your own vinegar-based home cleaning products, and you’ll only need a handful of ingredients.

Vinegar
White vinegar is extremely useful when it comes to cleaning, as the sheer number of our vinegar-based tips and tricks will show you. It can get rid of all kinds of nasty stains when used undiluted, and it’s especially powerful in combination with baking soda. This vinegar-based cleaner is super easy to make, and you’ll know exactly what you’ve got: there’s only a few ingredients, and almost all of them are natural! Plus, you can get them all at your local supermarket.

This is how you do it
We’ve got three different scents for you, but they all start with the same base ingredients: water and white vinegar. Get yourself a large spray bottle and fill it half with white vinegar and half with water. Now this is where the three different scents come in…

  • Lemon & Rosemary: Add 2-3 sprigs of rosemary and 2-3 lemon rind pieces to your bottle. Shake it, and let it infuse for 1 week.
  • Orange & Peppermint: Add 2-3 orange rind pieces and 2-3 drops of peppermint oil to your bottle. Shake it, and let it infuse for 1 week.
  • Eucalyptus & Tea Tree Oil: Add 2-3 sprigs of eucalyptus and 2-3 drops of tea tree oil to your bottle. Shake it, and let it infuse for 1 week.
