This is what you need to clean an induction stove:
- Microfiber cloths
- Baking soda
- White vinegar
- Tea towels
- Dish soap
This is what you do:
- Once the stove has cooled down completely, first remove all of the food scraps with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.
- Sprinkle some baking soda onto the stove. You can be generous, but you don’t need to use an entire box.
- Put the white vinegar in a spray bottle and spray some onto the baking soda. If you don’t have a spray bottle, you can place your thumb over the opening of the bottle and carefully shake some onto the stove. The baking soda and vinegar will start to foam when they come into contact with each other.
- Fill a dishpan with warm water and a bit of dish soap. Put a tea towel in there, drench it and then wring it out. Cover the stove with the wet tea towel (use two of them if one isn’t enough to cover it). Leave the tea towel there for about 15 minutes.
- After the 15 minutes have passed, use the tea towel to wipe up everything; get the stove as clean as possible.
- Spray some more vinegar onto the stove and use another microfiber cloth to remove any remaining dirt or food. The glass will truly start to shine now!
