3. The tap

We go to the toilet, turn on the tap with our dirty hands, wash our hands and then turn off the tap with our clean hands. But the bacteria are already on there! That’s pretty gross when you think about it, right? So, remember to disinfect your tap regularly.

2. Your bag

If your shoes get dirty, it’s only logical that your bag does too. You take it with you everywhere you go and you might put it on the ground from time to time as well. It can get pretty dirty like that! Most people don’t clean their bags very often (if ever), and that means you carry about 10,000 bacteria with you.

1. The mop

The mop is number one with a bullet on the list of dirty household objects. When you use a dirty mop, you’re spreading about a billion bacteria per square centimeter. WHAT? Yes, if you put a used mop back without washing it, the bacteria will multiply at lightning speed. So, always wash your mop on at least 60 degrees Celsius after using it. If your mop can’t be washed, you should replace it regularly.
