Give stainless steel back its original shine!
Fat splashing around or little children’s hands are just two things that can make stainless steel in the kitchen or bathroom end up covered in stains. That’s not what you want, of course, because it looks messy and it’s much prettier when it shines.
Cleaning solution
When you clean stainless steel it often looks as if it’s only getting worse and the stains are spreading until your stove is covered in grease. Luckily, there’s a super easy cleaning solution that’ll make your stainless steel look as good as new. You can make it yourself and you’ll only need 3 ingredients:
- baking soda
- liquid soap
- bottle of glycerine (you can buy this at the drugstore or pharmacy)
Instructions
Mix three-quarters of a cup of baking soda with a quarter of a cup of liquid soap and a teaspoon of glycerine. Mix them together until you’ve got a smooth paste. Take a little bit of the paste, put it on a cloth and polish your stainless steel tables or other surfaces and pots and pans with it. You’ll notice they’ll be super clean in no time! Do be careful with aluminium surfaces or surfaces that scratch easily, though.
Olive oil
Is your exhaust hood or stove covered in fingerprints and do you want to clean them off quickly? You can do this with a little bit of olive oil! Put a tiny bit of oil on a paper towel and softly rub it over the fingerprints.
