Do you have glass doors or walls in your bathroom? With this tip, they won’t get covered in limescale!

Say goodbye to limescale!

You will probably recognize this: you are super proud of your beautiful sparkling glass shower unit, but before you know it, it is covered in limescale. A shame! Once the limescale gets hold, it is a real job to remove it. And even when you finally manage it, you have to do it all over again two weeks later! This can be prevented if you follow our handy trick!

Limescale in a stubborn and annoying problem that often occurs in bathrooms on surfaces like taps or glass walls. When we shower and don’t dry off the shower cubicle quickly enough afterwards, the lime that is present in our tap water settles on our sanitary ware. That looks awful and makes your shower cubicle look dull and dirty. Luckily, you can avoid all this nuisance by using the following tip!

This is what you need:

  • WD40
  • Lint-free cloth

This is how you do it:
First of all, make sure that your shower cubicle is (as far as possible) free of limescale. Then spray WD40 on all the surfaces where you want to avoid getting limescale. Leave to work for a moment, then rinse and wipe dry with a lint-free cloth. By greasing your glass doors/walls with WD40, you create a protective layer on the surface. That means that the lime in the tap water is not able to settle on the glass. Ideal or what?
