Foggy glassware will be a thing of the past with this trick!

Of course you try your best to keep your glassware looking as shiny and new as possible, but unfortunately this doesn’t always work. We’ll admit, whether your glassware remains shiny does in part depend on its quality. Having sparkling wine and/or beer glasses on your dinner table does look really fancy, though. We now have the tip on how you’ll be able to achieve this!

You already own everything you need.

Foggy glasses

The foggy tarnish on your glassware is mostly caused by the limescale in tap water. The amount of limescale is different from area to area, but in many places there is at least some level of limescale present in the tap water. You’ll notice it in the bathroom as well, where dull stains can appear in the toilet or on your shower or shower walls because of the limescale drying up. You can get rid of this limescale with our good old friend vinegar! It’s helped us with so many things already, and it’s back to be useful once again. This time we’re going to use it in combination with dish soap and warm water.

What do you need?

Take an empty bottle of dish soap or laundry detergent (or a different type of plastic bottle) and fill it with a mixture of 1/4 vinegar, 1/4 dish soap and 2/4 water. Shake the bottle properly. Take a soft cloth (light scrub is okay) and thoroughly clean the glasses with a little bit of the mixture. Leave it to sit for a while and then rinse the mixture from the glasses. Bling bling!
