6 ways to make cleaning a little easier

Roll up your sleeves and start cleaning

Cleaning is one of those things very few people actually like to do, but it’s something that’s simply part of life. That’s why we usually like to be as quick as possible and efficiently vacuum our home, wipe off the kitchen counters and hurriedly clean the bathroom. Want to be even more efficient and quick? We’ve got a few tips for you to make it happen.

You’ll be done before you know it.

1. Make it easy to find your supplies

We’re probably not the only ones to have a disorganised cupboard full of all kinds of cleaning supplies. Cleaning your home takes a lot longer if you have to keep moving back and forth to get the right supplies. If you have the space for it, it’s smart to keep the supplies you need for cleaning the bathroom in the bathroom, and the things you need to clean the kitchen in the kitchen, etc. If you don’t have enough storage space for this, you can still make things a lot easier for yourself by sorting through all the supplies and putting them in a bucket or some other kind of container. This way, you can simply get out the bucket of cleaning supplies and carry it with you while cleaning the house.

2. Work in an organised way

Don’t start off by dusting the living room only to then move on to the toilet. Cleaning experts recommend to always finish a task before moving on to the next. So, first clean the entire living room before starting work on the bathroom.

3. Make a checklist

It’s probably happened to you before: you think you’re done cleaning and finally sit down on the sofa with a cup of tea and then you find out you’ve forgotten to clean or tidy something. Make things easier for yourself by putting together a checklist before you begin and keeping to the order of this checklist. You’ll work in a much more organised manner, which means you won’t forget anything and you’ll be done quicker as well.
