4. Cutting board
Have you been cutting onions or fish? Then it’s likely your hands and cutting board smell of this. You can easily get rid of the smell by washing your hands with a little toothpaste. Also, rub a little toothpaste on the cutting board before washing it as you’d normally do to keep the nasty smells from lingering.
5. Markers
Maybe your child was colouring somewhere other than paper and your table is now covered in marker. No worries, just squirt some toothpaste on the surface and rub it in with a scourer. Wipe away with a paper towel and no one will ever know about the marks.
6. White soles
If you own a pair of sneakers with white soles, you know how difficult it is to keep them sparkling white. They usually turn a little yellow or grey after a while. If you want to keep them white, rub a little toothpaste on them with a scourer. Wipe away with a paper towel and your soles are white again.
7. Iron
Is there some residue on your iron which makes it difficult to iron your clothes? You don’t want to iron any stains into your precious clothing, so it’s key to regularly clean the iron. Make sure the iron is cold before rubbing a little toothpaste on it. Wipe away with a paper towel, easy as that.
8. Headlights
Are your headlights looking a little dull? No worries, just squirt toothpaste on them and rub this in with your fingertips. Let it sit for about 15 minutes before scrubbing at it with an old toothbrush. You’ll notice that the paste will go brown because it’s scrubbing away all the grime and dirt. After you’ve scrubbed the headlights you can wipe away the toothpaste with a damp towel.
