3. Clean windows
We once wrote that if you want streak-free windows, you should clean them using newspaper. We certainly still stand by that, but you can also simply use a microfiber cloth. It’ll work at least as well! Plus, microfiber cloths are reusable, so they’re also much better for the environment.
4. Polish wooden floors
Cleaning wooden floors is a pretty precise chore. Wood is quite fragile, which is why you shouldn’t use a lot of water or products that are too aggressive. Instead, it’s best to vacuum or dust the floor and afterwards use a microfiber cloth as a mop. Then, use another clean and dry microfiber cloth to dry the wood.
5. Polish jewellery
After a while, gold and silver jewellery always starts to look a little dull. That’s where a microfiber cloth comes in handy. Use a dry cloth to polish your jewellery. Rub the dry cloth onto the dull silver or gold and afterwards, your jewellery will shine like never before!
