Cleaning your extractor hood is super simple!

A stainless steel extractor hood looks amazing, because it gives your kitchen an elegant, modern look. But cleaning the shiny metal is almost like a full time job since you can see every little stain on it. A kitchen is made to be used, of course, and you can’t avoid a few stains here and there – but it can be pretty annoying nonetheless.

We’ve got a cheap and easy solution for that, though…

Solution
You could go scrub like crazy as soon as someone even touches the extractor hood, but there’s no need for that. With this quick and cheap cleaning tip it’ll be hardly any effort to clean your stainless steel and to keep it clean as well. You only need three ingredients for this solution.

This is what you need:

  • three-quarters of a cup of baking soda
  • a quarter of a cup of liquid soap
  • a teaspoon of glycerine (you can buy this at the drugstore or pharmacy)

This is how to do it:
Mix together the baking soda, soap and glycerine and use this to scrub the stainless steel with. Then polish it up to a nice shine. Do be careful with aluminium or lacquered materials with this. Are you done scrubbing and polishing? You can just store this miracle product in a closed container. Your extractor hood will look as good as new!
